What we fix

Six appliances. One peninsula crew.

We keep the list short on purpose — refrigerators and freezers, washers, dryers, cooking appliances, dishwashers and ice makers — so we can know these machines inside out.

Four symptom guides

What the symptom usually means, what is safe to check, and when to stop and call.

Simple process

How a repair works

No mystery, no upsell script. Three steps from broken to fixed.

📞1

Call or request online

Tell us the appliance, the symptom and the address. We offer the earliest window that fits your side of the river — and text before we arrive.

🔍2

Diagnosis & one written price

The technician meters the machine, names the failed part in plain words and hands you one flat number. Approve it, and the $99 is already inside.

3

Fixed & warrantied

Most repairs close the same visit from the van. You get a tested machine, a tidy work area and a written warranty.

Why us

The Cooper River difference

What you actually get when the van pulls up.

📍

A peninsula address

Based on Laurens St beside the Gaillard — not a call center. Your technician drives the same one-way streets you do.

🧾

One written number

The price you approve is the price on the invoice. No hourly meter, no fuel, bridge or parking surcharges.

🏛

Old houses, handled

Stacked pairs in hall closets, kitchens in dependencies, panel-front built-ins, piazza access — routine, not a surprise.

🌊

Built for this climate

Salt air, August heat, hurricane-season surges and king tides — we plan for Charleston conditions, not textbook ones.

🛡

Written warranty

Every completed repair leaves with written coverage. Same fault inside the window, the return visit is on us.

🗓

Real time windows

Morning, midday or afternoon — a window and a text when we are on the way, scheduled around turnovers and shifts.

🔑

Rentals and managers

Lockbox codes, approval by text, invoice and warranty by email. No guest has to be home.

🚐

Stocked for these streets

The van carries what peninsula, Mount Pleasant and West Ashley kitchens actually break — so most jobs close in one visit.

Asked & answered

What Charleston homeowners ask us

Real questions from real phone calls — South of Broad to Summerville — and the answers we give.

Can you come out the same day I call?

For a warm refrigerator or freezer, usually — call before noon and we hold space on the peninsula and the near suburbs for it. Everything else is same-week, often next day. Mount Pleasant, West Ashley and James Island are the shortest drives of our day.

Do you charge extra for the bridges, the islands or downtown parking?

No. One price card from South of Broad to Summerville. Parking on the peninsula is our problem, not yours — the technician handles the meter and the loading zone.

What does the $99 diagnostic cover?

The trip, a hands-on diagnosis with a meter, and one written number for the fix. Approve the repair and the $99 is already inside that number. Decline, and $99 is the whole bill — and you keep the answer.

I manage a short-term rental — how does that work?

Give us the lockbox or gate code and the turnover window. The technician texts you the photo and the written number, you approve by text, and the invoice and warranty arrive by email. No guest has to be home.

Do you work on Sub-Zero, Wolf and the other built-ins?

Yes. Panel-front and built-in kitchens are routine South of Broad, on Daniel Island and in the Old Village, and the van carries the tools to open and close them properly. Miele, Thermador, Viking, JennAir, Bosch and Fisher & Paykel too.

What if you can’t fix it?

If a machine is not worth fixing, we say so at the diagnostic — we do not sell appliances, so there is no reason to push either way. $99 is the whole bill and you leave with a plain answer about what to buy next.

Appliance broken on the peninsula or across the bridges?

One call starts it: $99 diagnostic, one written price, repair from the van, written warranty.
