Pricing · all-in, in the open

Ninety-nine dollars to know. One number to fix.

No hourly meter, no trip fee stacked on top of a diagnostic, no quotes guessed over the phone. The $99 covers the visit and the diagnosis; the repair is one written number with that $99 already inside it — all pricing after the diagnostic, in writing.

Same-day windows for a warm refrigerator · Mon–Fri 8am–6pm · Sat 9am–3pm

How it works

Three steps, one bill

The rules

  • Step 1 — the $99 diagnostic: the trip and a hands-on workup with a meter
  • Step 2 — one written number for the repair, before any work starts
  • Step 3 — approve it and the $99 is already inside; decline and $99 is the whole bill
  • No repair prices on this site — every number comes after the diagnostic, in writing
  • No second trip fee if a part has to be ordered
  • Written warranty on every completed repair

What moves the number

The fault. A drain pump, a heating element, a start relay, an igniter — most repairs are one predictable part. A bigger job costs more, and you see the exact figure in writing before you say yes, never after.

The machine. Built-in and panel-front units take longer to open and close up properly; stacked pairs in a hall closet have to come down and go back up. That is time, not a surcharge, and it is inside the number you approve.

What we will not do. No labor by the hour that grows while the technician is standing in your kitchen. No bridge, island, gate, parking or Saturday surcharge. And no repair we would not do on our own machine — if it is not worth fixing, we say so at the diagnostic and $99 is the whole bill.

Written warranty. Every completed repair leaves with written coverage. Same fault inside the window, the return visit is on us.

Money questions

Is the $99 waived if I go ahead with the repair?

It is included — which works out the same. The $99 is part of the written repair price, so you never pay for the diagnosis and the repair separately.

Can you tell me what a repair will cost over the phone?

No — and we would rather say so than guess. We can tell you whether your symptom sounds routine or serious. The exact written number needs a technician in front of the machine with a meter; that is what the $99 buys.

What if the repair cannot be finished on the first visit?

We come back and finish with no second trip fee. The number you approved is the number you pay.

Do you charge more for the islands, the bridges or downtown parking?

No. One price card for the whole 30-minute map, from the Battery to Summerville. Parking on the peninsula is handled by the technician.

How do I pay?

Card, cash or check when the job is done. Nothing up front, nothing for a phone conversation. Landlords and property managers can be invoiced by email.

Appliance broken on the peninsula or across the bridges?

One call starts it: $99 diagnostic, one written price, repair from the van, written warranty.
